Today we’ve got another news of the week post, bringing you up to speed on all of the major stories that broke this week. We actually posted on a couple of industry-first supplements, one of which we didn’t hear anything about until a few days before it became available for pre-order.

Closely following the opening of its second mouth-watering soft serve, Scoop Shop, Halo Top has announced that it’s partnered with Uber Eats. Fans within range of the brand’s two Scoop Shop locations can now have its delicious, healthy creations, delivered right to their door.

While we’ve seen protein bars, protein powders, and premixed liquid protein drinks, this week we got our first ever carbonated protein drink. From the makers of the first instant whey protein and the first triple-layer protein bar comes the sparkling protein RTD Fizzique.

Quest Nutrition has launched a unique new protein bar flavor that is actually two bar flavors smashed together. Another unique feature of the latest Quest release is that you can only get it from the convenience store chain 7-Eleven.

Cellucor completely unveiled its first ever spin-off of its powerful and complete C4 Ultimate pre-workout. The new version takes out the creatine and arginine from the original version and adds in three new ingredients to help out users with weight loss.

Black Market and Inspired both revealed and released their collaboration this week, which is the pre-workout supplement DVST8 STIM. It combines the energy and focus from Black Market’s STIM pre-workout, and the performance and endurance of Inspired’s legendary DVST8 White Cut.
