Back at the end of December, Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard and his brother Curtis were horrifically attacked in a Cheshire nightclub.
The 24-year-old was left with bruises on his face, arms, legs and body.
Speaking to LBC radio, Curtis explained why he thought it might have happened: “He did get attention from people wanting photos and people kept coming up and recognising him. I could only think there was one reason why – they were jealous
Leaving it behind and moving on into the new year, AJ has revealed that he has been keeping his shape with more hardcore weight workouts.
After releasing some sizzling pics for his rather sexy 2019 calendar, the blond hunk opened up to Mail Online about the need for weight training in his routine.
Talking about losing his muscles during his hot dance routines, the Stoke-on-Trent lad revealed all.
Expressing his gym plan, AJ shared: “My aim whilst on tour is to go every day. Although I am dancing each day, I like to focus on weights as well, otherwise it is just cardio.
“When I am doing cardio I lose my muscles really fast because it just kills it.”
Continuing, he said: “That’s why I have to do weights in the gym, to ensure I don’t lose my shape and can lift my partners above my head.”
While Pritchard is looking forward, discussing his training plans for his first solo tour called Get On The Floor, his police case still remains open.
Police had previously announced they had arrested a 20-year-old male in connection with the case, but he was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A Cheshire police spokeswoman told the publication just yesterday that the case is still open and that there have been no other arrests, leaving the case still ongoing.
